Andy Rooney On Bitterness

Forgiveness is the antidote

I miss seeing Andy Rooney in the “60 Minutes” on TV.

He nailed this one. This quote from Andy Rooney on bitterness  is brilliant.

The Bible says: “But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.” (James 3:14 NIV)

The antidote is to forgive: “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32)
